RodeoHouston has completed three of five SuperSeries as we inch closer to determining a champion inside NRG Stadium for the first time since 2019.
Lane McGehee was the class of the bareback riding as he placed in all three rounds and finished first in two of them to win $6,250 in the SuperSeries.
Steer wrestling was incredibly close the entire way with three different bulldoggers winning each round. Timmy Sparing’s $4,000 topped the SuperSeries.
Team roping produced the two highest money winners of the entire SuperSeries. Jr. Dees/Levi Lord won Round 1 and were second in Rounds 2 and 3 to bank $7,000 apiece.
Saddle bronc riding was won by the surging CoBurn Bradshaw with a total of $6,750. The four-time NFR qualifier won Rounds 1 and 2 with rides of 83 and 85 points.
Tie-down roping was dominated by Nebraska cowboy Riley Pruitt. Pruitt won Rounds 1 and 3.
In barrel racing, there were three different Go-Round winners and Emma Charleston finished with $6,000 to edge Paige Jones by $250 to win the SuperSeries. In the other ladies event, Erin Johnson won the only round of breakaway with a time of 2.7 seconds.
Finally, in bull riding, Blaine Beaty and Clayton Savage each went 2-for-3. Beaty finished with $7,000 and Savage made $6,000.
The Semifinals are March 16-17 on The Cowboy Channel and The Cowboy Channel+ and the Championship Shootout is March 19.
