Leighton Berry was two for three wins in San Antonio and he placed third in Round 1 to be the No. 1 cowboy moving on from Bracket 5 in the bareback riding. In Round 3, Berry went 87.5 points on Frontier Rodeo’s Yellowstone.
“I’m loving life right now, what a cool rodeo. I’m so blessed to draw as good as I did,” Berry said.
Berry said this horse made him try a little harder but it all worked out in the end with a big win and big momentum to carry him into the Semifinals.
Also moving on to the Semifinals from Bracket 5 is Richmond Champion, Jayco Roper and Mason Clements.
