Garrett Shadbolt Wins 2 of 3 Rounds in San Antonio To Move On To The Semis

Garrett Shadbolt won two out of three rounds in Bracket 3 of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. In Round 1 it was an 84 that got the win and Shadbolt bested that with an 85.5 on Cervi Rodeo’s Dream Machine in Round 3.

“I was most excited about that horse out of everything I’ve drawn this week and they’ve been a lot of points on her. I think we did pretty good tonight,” Shadbolt said.

Shadbolt made his first ever National Finals Rodeo this past December and he says that has taught him some things and he continues to improve and impress.

Shadbolt earned $6,000 and is the No. 1 man in his bracket moving on to the Semifinals. Tim O’Connell, Jamie Howlett and Jacob Raine will all be joining him.
