Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira stopped the clock at 4.2 seconds to win the team roping at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. With the win, both of the reigning World Champions moved to No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings.
“This is an awesome setup, I’ve been dreaming to win this rodeo for a long time,” Driggers said. “To get it done tonight, that’s pretty special.”
After a penalty on their first run of the rodeo, the pair responded by placing in the Top 2 of the final three rounds they competed in.
Both Driggers and Nogueira lead their respective standings by over $10,000.
