Tacy Webb Wins in Tough Round of Semifinals in Fort Worth

Tacy Webb is roping for the first time ever at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Webb was up in Bracket 3 where she was a 3.2 to be second in Round 1 and 2.5 to be fourth in Round 2. She ended up being in the disqualified pool waiting to see if she would be the final person to make the Wild Card Round and after all brackets where complete, Webb made it to the Wild Card.

Webb ended up winning the Wild Card Round with a 2.2 and securing her spot in the Semifinals.

Last night, Webb was first out, and she roped her calf in 2.1 to win the Semifinals.

“You know, really and truly being first, it’s tough because the girls behind me are tough. So I just had to go make the best run I could on the calf… It really just worked out how God had it planned,” Webb said.

Also qualifying for the Final Round on Saturday are Shelby Boisjoli, Erin Johson and Jackie Crawford.
