Clint Laye Wins Bracket 7, Round 2 as a Pair of Canadians Advance in the Bareback Riding

Canadian cowboy Clint Laye was 87 points on Rafter G Rodeo’s Holy Grail to follow his countryman Dantan Bertsch and win a bareback riding round in Fort Worth Bracket 7.

The pen of horses in Tuesday’s performance featured some of the most feared broncs in bareback riding including Mary, Meat Sweats, Girl Crush and Tequila Time from Bridwell Pro Rodeo and Holy Grail and Dapper Dan from Rafter G.

"(The locker room), it’s always a little different (when eliminator type horses are out),” Laye said. “It seemed a little bit quiet in there tonight.”

With the win, Laye earned $1,760, enough to advance him to the Semifinals along with Bertsch.
