Rodeo Rapid City Xtreme Broncs: Highlights, Recap and Payouts

It was an exciting weekend at the new Summit Arena in South Dakota as Rodeo Rapid City hosted its Xtreme Bulls and Xtreme Broncs events on back to back nights over the weekend.

Allen Boore was the champion of the X Broncs on Saturday with 89 points on Burch Rodeo’s Lunatic From Hell. Boore won a shotgun and over $4,000 for his first-place finish.

BOORE’S 89 POINT RIDE

It was Boore’s first ride marked more than 80 points of 2022 and his first check of the season. He only has four outs so far this year after returning from a shoulder injury that occurred in August.

“That horse is awesome every time it bucks and he’s been good for a long time and I’ve gotten along with him every time I’ve got on him, so I’m happy to draw him anytime,” he said. “This is one of the best bronc matches they have.”

Ross Griffin and Jade Blackwell each took home $2,670 for splitting second with 87 points apiece.
