Saddle bronc rider Brody Cress on the importance of consistency

After watching the highlights of Brody Cress at the Texas Circuit Finals, Steve Kenyon remarked that it looked like the saddle bronc rider did the exact same thing on all three horses.

Cress was marked between 87 and 90 points to sweep all three rounds and he said every horse is different, but the basics of bronc riding need to stay the same.

“Whether you’re getting on horses you’ll see at the tenth round of the (National) Finals or horses that might have good trips sometime and might not where you need to be able to win money on those horses to make the NFR, so that’s what I try to do is focus on doing the same thing on every horse and it prepares me for what they’re going to do,” he said.
