Creek Young is only 21, but quickly proved he could ride with the best in the world by winning a total of nine rodeos in the 2021 season.

The first win came at the Egg Xtreme Bulls (Mississippi) with 88 points on Wicked Paradise all the way back November of 2020, which counted toward the next year's standings. In May, he won the Rio Grande Valley Stock Show and Rodeo with 84 points on Evil Intentions. Almost exactly a month later, Young was victorious at Strawberry Days Rodeo (Utah) with 90.5 aboard Exit Strategy. Young recorded a win over Cowboy Christmas as well with an 86.5-point ride at the Home of Champions Xtreme Bulls (Montana). 

YOUNG IN RED LODGE 

After the Fourth of July run, Young was No. 11 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings with $33,792, but his winning ways picked up in August. In the first week, he won both the Lea County Xtreme Bulls and the Lea County PRCA Rodeo (New Mexico) to win nearly $15,000 for three bull rides. A few weeks later, he won the Missoula Xtreme Bulls with 89.5 point on Hou's Counting and four days after that, he was the champion of the Omak Stampede (Washington). 

YOUNG IN MISSOULA 

Young saved his biggest win for last when he won the Tri-State Rodeo (Iowa) in September. He rode two bulls for 89.5 and 88.5 points and won the $15,000 in first-place prize money. 

YOUNG'S RIDES IN FORT MADISON

Young finished the season No. 4 in the PRCA World Standings with $143,512 won. He averaged 83.94 points with a riding percentage of 46 and 14 Go-Round wins in 2021.
