This year the barrel racing has had some emotional wins for the ladies.
Nellie Miller went into the Pro Tour Finale outside the top 15 and when she left Salinas she was the Pro Rodeo Tour Finale Champion and sitting no. 8 in the world, meaning she is going back to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
Sitting in the no. 1 hole is three time world champion, Hailey Kinsel and behind her by only $11,000 is Jordan Briggs. Briggs cinched her spot in Vegas after a big win in Dodge City, Kansas.
At the NFR come this December, for the first time ever, they will be hand raking after every barrel racer. This is game changer for these ladies as this will make being no. 15 out not so bad.
The mare power is strong this year and as always, the ladies will bring another level of excitement to the Thomas and Mack for ten nights.
