Bubble Watch: Lisa Lockhart in 14th in WPRA Barrel Racing World Standings

In the last two weeks, Lisa Lockhart has earned almost $15,000 and jumped from No. 17 to No. 14 in the WPRA Barrel Racing World Standings.

Lockhart’s well-timed hot streak began at the Pendleton Round-Up, where she won a Go-Round and over $8,000 total. Lockhart won about $900 at the Othello (Washington) PRCA Rodeo the same weekend.

While she was not at the ProRodeo Tour Finale, Lockhart was able to make due by placing in three rodeos from Sept. 23-26. She was second at the Comal County (Texas) Fair & Rodeo, third at the Omaha River City Rodeo and eighth at Amarillo Tri-State Fair & Rodeo. She totaled about $2,300 for those finishes.

At No. 14, Lockhart ($65,044) is trying to hold off No. 15 Molly Otto ($64,173) and No. 16 Stephanie Fryar ($59,411) in the season’s final days. If the standings hold, it will be Lockhart’s 15th consecutive Wrangler NFR appearance.
