Rhen Richard slides into NFR spot as a header

Rhen Richard has been to the Wrangler NFR twice as a tie-down roper and now he’s trying to add a second trip as team roper as well.

Richard, a header, has partnered with Tyler Worley and more recently Jeremy Buhler in 2021. With Buhler behind him, Richard recently won the Moses Lake Round-Up (Washington) and was second in Go-Rounds in Gooding, Idaho and Canby, Oregon.

That late August push has moved Richard from 20th all the way up to 15th in the PRCA World Standings with $49,964. He is about $700 clear of Tate Kirchenschlager .

Richard last made the NFR as a header in 2018, when he finished 15th in addition to finishing No. 10 in the tie-down roping.
