Pat Christensen joined Amy Wilson Cameron to discuss the increase in total pay for Wrangler NFR contestants, The Cowboy Channel Cowboy Christmas and how he has focused on the consumer experience in his 20 years as President of Las Vegas Events.
“It’s tied to everything, it’s tied to success, the people expect the best in terms of the service and experience, " he said. “The only way you can really do that is to continually work on it, continually focus on that.......Most of its details, most of its probably a thousand details for different improvements for 2021 over 2019.”
Christensen also added that part of the reason he loves the Wrangler NFR is because the experiences are not just limited to the Thomas & Mack Center, rather, visitors get to see all of Vegas turn into a cowboy town when the NFR takes place.
