Johnnie Trotter is a man you’ve heard of if you are from the panhandle of Texas.
Adding to his resume, Trotter was inducted into the Cattle Feeders Hall Of Fame and the American Quarter Horse Hall Of Fame this past weekend. Trotter has been known to be very active in his local community, including working the Spicer Gripp Memorial Roping.
Trotter is a past president of the AQHA and according to him that is the only reason he got in there. But we know that is just not the case. Trotter has been very active in the quarter horse world, in particular, quarter horse racing. He has races going on at the track in Ruidoso, New Mexico and trials for one of the biggest races is coming up this next weekend. Trotter will be watching some of the fastest quarter horses compete for their spot in the All American Derby.
Needless to say, he has quite the foothold in the American Quarter Horse world making him a perfect fit for a spot in the American Quarter Horse Hall Of Fame.
