Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison cinched the win in team roping in Sikeston with a 5.9-second run on Saturday night.
Masters/Harrison won with consistency as they were 6 seconds flat in the first round, so they won the Average without placing in the Top 3 in either round.
“We’ve had a rough week so far, so it was nice to come by and get one caught,” Masters said.
“It’s a cool rodeo, I’ve never been here before but I knew Chad liked it and it worked out good,” Harrison added.
After the win, Harrison is now No. 14 in the the heeling world standings and Masters is No. 19 on the head side. Masters is currently less than $4,000 out of 15th.
