Tucker Allen after winning the steer wrestling in Sikeston by one-tenth

Tucker Allen shared the steer wrestling title with Laramie Warren thanks to a clutch run on Saturday night in Sikeston.

After going 3.9 seconds on his first steer, Allen he had to be 4.4 seconds or better to get a piece of the title and he did exactly that to edge out Zack Jongbloed for first.

“I knew I had a really good steer and everyone was kind of having some bad luck tonight so I just wanted to make sure to not be too aggressive on the start and just lay him over,” he said.

Allen, who won Dodge City last weekend, is No. 33 in the world but just $15,000 out of an NFR spot.
