Frenchmans Guy is a name recognized by anybody in the rodeo world.
Guy gave the Myers an unbelievable 34 years. The legacy they have built with just one horse is something that will go down in the history books. Frenchmans Guy will have his name next to greats like Doc Bar, Poco Bueno and Driftwood.
The 1987 palomino stallion was an athlete in the arena, winning professional rodeos, derbies and circuit rodeos. He is a $10 plus million-dollar sire with prodigy winning up and down the rodeo road today and he was a leading all-around performance sire from 2001 – 2016.
He went on to give the rodeo world a burst of color with a lot of his offspring sporting the same shiny, yellow coat. Palomino became the new black, Frenchmans Guy is a classic, he’s timeless and his legacy will go on.
Our condolences to the Myers family on losing one of the greats.
