Jordan Briggs got the win in Dodge City and secured her spot to this year’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I believe in him so much. I get a little nervous before I run but the second I put my foot in the stirrup he gives me all the confidence in the world.. I’m just proud to be his jockey,” Briggs said as she gives all due credit to her four legged partner, Rolo.
You have seen Briggs all week, she’s been consistent placing third in round one and second in round two. She came into the short go and layed down a 17.15 second run to earn her the championship. She now gets to go home and put up her own Dodge City Championship buckle right next to her mom’s.
