Brittany Barnett makes big jump in Pool B to advance to Showdown Sunday at Calgary Stampede

Brittany Barnett said she would be okay with the Wild Card after her run on Friday, but instead her time of 17.48 seconds and $5,500 first-place check she earned because of it put her straight into Championship Sunday.

“A round win is here unbelievable, it truly is a dream come true,” Barnett said. “I owe everything to that mare (Paint).”

BARNETT’S DAY 4 RUN

Barnett finished second in Pool B with $12,000, $7,000 behind Shelby Spielman, who finished in the Top 2 in every performance of Pool B.
