The Black Hills Stock Show Foundation was established in 1993 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Their mission is to preserve the legacy of the Black Hills and all that it encompasses while also investing in the people that will take it over when we’re gone.
The BHSSF had a brand new event this year in Deadwood, South Dakota. Back When They Bucked brought the top saddle bronc riders and breakaway ropers to the historic town and two winners, one from each event, were crowned.
This is just one of the many way that the BHSSF accomplishes its mission.
