Bull rider Colten Fritzlan sidelined by shoulder injury

Colten Fritzlan, the champion of RFD-TV’s The American, will be out for an undetermined amount of time after a left shoulder injury.

Fritzlan got bucked off a practice bull in Grandbury, Texas on May 19 and that’s where the injury took place.

“I’ll got back in around three weeks to get another MRI and hopefully everything is strong and looks good enough for me to return,” he said. “Injuries are just a part of it. You’re going to get hurt eventually and whatnot. It depends how you come back from it, that is all that matters.”

Fritzlan is currently No. 2 in the PRCA and No. 7 in the PBR. Although the timeline of his return is unknown, he is expected to be out several weeks.
