Lefty Holman is coming off of his first career NFR after finishing sixth in the World Saddle Bronc Riding Standings. Holman split the round win in his very first round at the NFR.
“Obviously I was pretty nervous going into my first NFR live everybody. Winning that first-round really knocked my week off and I had a pretty dang good week.”
Holman is heading to the Reno Rodeo, a rodeo he has fond memories of as the reigning champion.
“That is a great rodeo, I have a lot of family roots down there in Nevada so a lot of family gets to come. You get on two head in the short round and a lot of rodeos for us you don’t get to do that.”
Lefty currently sits in 29th place in the world standings, but one good month could change that as he is just $7,000 out of 15th place which would qualify him for his second career NFR.
