The Preakness drew post positions Tuesday and Bob Baffert trainees Medina Spirit and Concert Tour will be running.
Baffert consented to blood testing, monitoring and medical reviews of both horses by the Maryland Jockey Club, according to a release from his attorney.
Medina Spirit was the Kentucky Derby winner and this move comes in the aftermath of the horse testing positive for Bethamethasone, a steroid. Medina Spirit still faces a possible disqualification from the Kentucky Derby.
Medina Spirit will be in the No. 3 post position and is currently the favorite at 9-5. Concert Tour will be in the No. 10 on the outside of a 10-horse field.
The race runs Saturday, May 15 at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
