Tim O’Connell won the Riggin’ Rally at the Steiner Ranch on Saturday and did so in record-tying style by riding Frontier Rodeo’s Gun Fire for 94 points.
“It was just everything you would want and dream of in a bucking horse and a bucking horse ride, I really didn’t know if I was going to be there every jump,” he said.
It is the second time in his career O’Connell has rode for 94 points with the other coming last year in San Angelo on Northcott Macza’s Stevie Knicks.
O’Connell is currently No. 2 in the world bareback riding standings. You can see his full interview here.
