Richard Winners, the 2009 Road to the Horse Champion, joined Amy Wilson on Western Sports Roundup Thursday night.
The pair discussed the strategy for the event, how to pick your colt and what it’s like training a horse in front of your peers and a huge crowd.
“Nobody gets invited to this event unless they have the goods,” Winners said. “This is not the weekend to pull something new out of your hat.”
