The College National Finals Rodeo were canceled in 2020, but the event is back in 2021.
From June 13-19, 2021, the College National Finals Rodeo will be held at 100 percent capacity in Casper, Wyoming.
Mayor Steve Freel told the Oil City News last week the show will go on.
“We are full steam ahead,” Freel told the publication. “Looks like it is going to go off like it normally would and [we’ll] have a good event like we did, it seems like forever ago.”
The Mayor added the only roadblock will be getting some athletes to Wyoming from state’s with more restrictions.
The CNFR has an economic impact of close to $2 million on the City of Casper. The CNFR has been held in the city since 1999.
