It is a journey to get to the semi-finals of RFD-TV’s The American where more than 1,600 cowboys and cowgirls will attempt to qualify for the American Rodeo, which takes place March 6-7 at AT&T Stadium.
The roping events have the most participants with 451 breakaway ropers and 290 tie-down ropers competing at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth.
The total payout for the semi-finals is $550,000.
