York Gill, who qualified for the National Finals Rodeo in 2011 in team roping, is being inducted into the Tarleton State Rodeo Hall of Fame on Friday alongside five other members from the school’s 2005 National Championship team.
“It’s a great rodeo school, had a lot of fun, it was a great experience,” Gill said. “Awesome year (2005), the men’s team was unbelievable. Great group of guys.”
The other inductees are Cody Horwedel, Clayton Jackson, Bray Armes, Blake Teixeira and Ryan Watkins.
