WATCH: Brody Cress after his second-place finish at Rapid City Xtreme Broncs

Thanks to some adjustments in his saddle, Brody Cress won over $3,000 in Rapid City over the weekend.

At the Xtreme Broncs event, he rode Rip Cord for 88 points to finish second behind South Dakota’s own Cole Elshere.

Cress said after Circuit Finals he decided to rip the handle binding off and take some of the leather around the sides off as well. He said this would allow him to use his hips better and early in 2021, he feels like his old self again.

“I’ve made a lot of mistakes the last two years and stuff and not rode as good as I’ve wanted to so I’m just focused on trying to fix those things,” he said. “Definitely on the right track.”
