Meet the 2020 NFR Athletes - Allen Boore

Allen Boore made more than $73,000 in his 2020 regular season and qualified for the NFR after finishing in fifth place in the Saddle Bronc World Standings. This is Boore’s first NFR since he went in 2016 and finished the year in sixth place.

Boore started the season strong at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. He went 87 in round one to finish in second place, and in the finals, he finished third after another 87 point ride. Overall Boore earned more than $10,000 at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

In February Boore would get one of his wins on the season at San Angelo where he went 88.5 on Big Tex to take first place and earn $1.,650.

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo was another big win for Boore as he would place in four rounds including finishing second in round five and the finals.

In round give Boore tallied an 86.5 point ride on Grab your Gun which put him in second place and earned him a check of $4,153.

In the finals, Boore went 88 on Xena Warrior and made another $7,800.

Boore’s consistency throughout the season is what led him to a career-best finish in terms of World Standings. While it will be difficult for Boore to catch Wyatt Casper, who made $145,138, and sits in first place, he does have the opportunity to catch Shorty Garrett and Brody Cress who sit in fourth and third place.
