Life on the bubble is not an easy place to be, but that is exactly where Hunter Herrin spent most of his season. Herrin earned $46,049 on the season and finished in 15th place. He was just $175.78 ahead of Cory Solomon who finished in 16th place.
Herrin’s first big payday on the season came in Rapid City where he finished in fourth place thanks to a 9.2-second run. The top-five finish earned Herrin nearly $3,000.
In February Herrin took the top spot in the first round at the La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros where he earned $3,592, his second-biggest payday of the season.
At the Parker County Sheriffs Posse Frontier Days and PRCA Rodeo Herrin took the top spot to earn $2,822.

In August, Herrin earned $1,000 at the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo after an 8.3-second ride.

While Herrin is in 15th place in the World Standings, he will have a great opportunity to move up the leaderboard. Tuff Cooper currently sits in second place but is just $20,000 ahead of Herrin.
