NFR’s Most Memorable Moments: Mary Burger Takes the Title at 68

You should never ask a woman her age, but in this case, Mary Burger would be okay with it. At the age of 68, she became the oldest competitor to qualify for the NFR and the oldest to win a World Title.

Burger was also just the third barrel racer to wear the coveted number one back number, which is based on season earnings.
