An elated Tyson Durfey took to Instagram earlier this week to thank all of the parties involved in helping him recover his stolen horse trailer.
More than three weeks after the World Champion Tie-Down Roper had reported it missing, a Good Samaritan thought he recognized the trailer, so he crawled underneath it to check the VIN number and called it in to Logan Coach Trailers. Sure enough, his hunch was right, and thanks to him and local law enforcement, Durfey has his rig back.
In his Instagram post, Durfey wrote, “A huge thanks to My new friend John, Palo Pinto Constable Marc Moon, Sherrif Deputy Keith Holloway! Never thought I would get it back and have the thief in custody!”
