Professional barrel racer and futurity champion Ryann Pedone recently joined us in-studio for an episode of ProRodeo Tonight to chat about what she and “Feel the Sting” have planned as the country progresses towards “normalcy.”
“My horses have been kind of on a break to get them sharpened up because it looks like things are going to start opening back up. Pedone said. “I’ll start off going to The Ruby Buckle because Feel The Sting is a Ruby Buckle Stallion so he’ll be running there.”
When it comes to how everyone has been handling this rare time-off, Pedone thinks everyone, horses and athletes, will come back strong.
“Everybody is gonna be pretty tough [coming back]. All of the horses are going to come back sound,” she said.
With rodeos having been on pause for over two months, Pedone believes the lack of events and traveling should have a positive impact on the horses’ physical condition.
