PRCA CEO George Taylor talks NFR, Paycheck Protection program, and the PRCA Digital Rodeo Tournament.

In a recent interview on ProRodeo Tonight, Taylor starts by filling us in on the weekly meetings between the PRCA and the NFR, during which the discuss when we will see Las Vegas open back up and how they can make this year’s NFR even better than the last.

He also explains how the Paycheck Protection program can help members and rodeo committees, most of whom are eligible for forgivable loans being provided by the government under the CARES Act, which was recently allotted additional funding.

“We really want to make sure that our members are utilizing those things and pursuing those things. They money had run out but now it’s been replenished, and so, we need to act fast, and keep everybody with money and food on the table.”

Finally, Taylor talks about the PRCA’s new online Digital Rodeo Tournament, which allows fans to vote on who should move on in each round, and encourages rodeo fans to share their ideas for how we can all stay connected to the sport right now.
