Flint Hills Rodeo Will Not Take Place For the First Time in 83 Years

Traditionally held on the first weekend of June, the Flint Hills ProRodeo is the oldest consecutive rodeo in the state of Kansas.

Unfortunately Flint Hills has announced the rodeo will be canceled for the first time in its 83-year history due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is also the first rodeo to be canceled leading into the month of June.

“It was with great difficulty and deliberation that the rodeo board unanimously decided that it is in the best interest of everyone to cancel this event... Please make plans to join us June 3-5, 2021, in Strong City, Kansas.”
