Trevor Brazile needs no introduction and at the 2017 NFR, he has his eyes on a 24th World Championship. In round one Brazile stopped the clock at 7.9 seconds, which secured a second-place finish.
It is a family affair for Brazile, who currently trails his brother-in-law Tuf Cooper in the Tie-Down Roping world standings.
“There’s no secret,” Brazile told the ProRodeo Sports News. “We practice together every day and it’s just part of it (standings race). Iron sharpens iron and we push each other. It’s been a good dynamic and worked for both of us.”
In round two the 23-time World Champion stopped the clock at 7.4 seconds, but will that be enough to take the second round in a loaded field? Be sure to tune in tonight at 8:00 PM ET as the 40 Nights of NFR continue with round two of the 2017 NFR.
