In Round 8 at the 2016 NFR, tie-down roper and 2013 World Champion Shane Hanchey won the round with a time of just 6.8 seconds.
It was an impressive performance and Hanchey’s first and only other round win in 2016 after he took the win on night one.
However, the Louisiana cowboy placed in 4 of the 10 rounds to finish 12th in the average and 8th overall in the PRCA | RAM World Standings.
