Western sports reporter Amy Wilson was on location at Dickies Arena last night to watch the Bracket 3 performances of Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo‘s ProRodeo tournament and talk to the athletes who finished out the night at the top of the leaderboard and who will advance on to the semi-finals.
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is the first one back for Austin Foss after he suffered an injury at the Wrangler NFR in December, but the bareback rider has proven that he hasn’t missed a beat. Foss won his set in the bareback last night, earning a total of $3,520 from his two Round 1 performances. On Monday, he went 88 points on Stace Smith Pro Rodeo’s Rodeo’s Right Angle, following it up with an 86.5-point ride last night on Andrews Rodeo’s Raisin Cane.
Foss talks about his new rigging and takes Amy through his second ride. He will move on to compete in the semi-finals along with Paden Hurst.
