We talked to 4X NFR qualifier Chet Johnson before his matchup with Cervi’s Small Town Scandal at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo. The saddle bronc rider shared his thoughts on the matchups of the day and his goals for 2020. Ultimately, he wants to make it back to the Wrangler National Finals.
“I’ve had two seasons of injured knees, both of them, and I finally feel really healthy,” Johnson says. “I went to enough last year to get qualified for everything, so I’m going to go hard, and rodeo smart, and hopefully be in Vegas in December.”
