Stetson Wright Rocks Globe Life Field for 90.5 Points to Win Bull Riding Round One

The bull riding has gotten incredibly interesting incredibly quick.

Stetson Wright exploded for 90.5 points on Silver Lining to get the Go-Round win and move from 8th to 3rd in the world standings.

“I feel good, and I hope I can win nine more, and I guess we will see,” Wright told ProRodeo.com. “I’m super happy about how this year is going as of right now and I feel healthy and am ready to rock.”

Last year, Wright won the first round with a 92.5 on Monte Walsh.

The second-biggest ride of the night came from Wright’s good pal Ky Hamilton, who went for 90 the aboard Standard Tuesday in the his Wrangler NFR debut. His debut got even sweeter because he will enter Friday night’s performance No. 1 in the world after Sage Kimzey finished sixth the first round and Boudreaux Campbell bucked off.

As part of the shuffle at the top, Kimzey is now second, Wright is third and Campbell is fourth.
