Shelley Morgan Leads Round 1 at Cinch Playoffs

When the best in the world get together for a barrel race, Shelley Morgan always seems to shine.

Morgan made the Short Round of the NFR Open in July and on Thursday night, she won the first performance at the Cinch Playoffs in Puyallup with a time of 13.64 seconds.

“Tonight, man she was on fire,” Morgan said of her horse Kiss. “She was so calm tonight, this is the first time she’s been here but obviously she liked it.”

At the Cinch Playoffs, 24 of the top barrel racers in the country are competing to be in the Top 8 on a two-head Average.

You can watch all four remaining performances from the $1 million Cinch Playoffs live on The Cowboy Channel and PRCA on Cowboy Channel+.
