Savannah Woodfin laid down a run of 17.39 during Saturday’s Performance to take home the win from the Lea County Fair and Rodeo.
Woodfin’s equine partner belongs to her mother and the team was able to get the job done just in time to take home the Championship Title.
“I’ve been struggling with him,” she said. “Before coming here I put on a bracelet that said ‘God is greater than the highs and lows so I said, ‘okay, God I’m just letting it go.’”
