Ryder Wright’s Consistency Powers Him to Average Lead at the Reno Rodeo

Ryder and Rusty are now No. 1 and 2 in the Average after Ryder Sanford lead entering the perf

With rides of 85.5 points in Round 1 and 86 in Round 2, Ryder Wright now holds a 2.5-point lead over his brother Rusty in the saddle bronc riding Average at the Reno Rodeo.

“That horse knows all the tricks, I tried to just get him where it felt comfortable to me and not try to fight him too much,” he said of his Round 2 matchup with Flying 5’s Blue Feather.

With just one group of bronc riders to go, Wright will undoubtedly make the Finals and could very well enter the favorite to win the whole thing.

Wright is No. 5 in the World looking for his third PRCA Playoff win of the year and second in June as he split the title at the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo (Utah) with Ryder Sanford on June 15.
