Rookie Saddle Bronc Rider Ryder Sanford Catches Up with Jeff Medders Ahead of Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup

Rookie saddle bronc rider Ryder Sanford is heading into the Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup with the same gameplan he has all year, take it one horse at a time.

With narrow margins between the 14th-16th ranked cowboys, competing at a rodeo with $1 million payout on the final weekend of the regular season is a game-changing and for some bubble bursting scenario.

Sanford’s season has been spectacular including a massive ride at the Cheyenne Frontier Days and he has the ability to do it all again in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

“That’s a great rodeo. I love what the sponsors have done and the committee have done for that rodeo. It really shows where the sport is going and to be able to ride for that much money at the end of the season, it’s pretty awesome,” Sanford said.
