Rocker Steiner Talks Wins in Odessa, Denver and More

Rocker Steiner stepped into the professional rodeo world and lit it up.

The rookie bareback rider won the Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo and followed it up by getting the win at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.

Before Steiner hit the professional road, he was surrounded by successful rodeo athletes. His grandfather is a world champion bull rider, his father is a world champion steer wrestler, his mother is an NFR qualifier, and his sister is going down the road now too. He also had Leighton Berry, Cole Reiner and more close by.

“The people you hang around is such a big part of what you become and who you are. I’ve tried to surround myself with the best guys and I have surrounded myself with the best guys… They help me out so much and help me ride like that and I’m thankful for it,” Steiner said.

The win in Odessa qualified Steiner for Rodeo Houston and he already has an early lead in the Resistol Rookie standings.
