Rookie Bareback Rider Rocker Steiner Continues Pro Success with Win at National Western

Rocker Steiner already has two big wins under his belt in a ProRodeo career that began earlier this month.

After winning the Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo, which concluded Jan. 15, he followed it up by winning the National Western in Denver with an 87.5 point ride on Cervi Brother’s Ain’t No Angel. He shared the win with last year’s Resistol Rookie of the Year Cole Franks.

Leighton Berry was third with 85.5 point and R.C. Landingham, Seth Hardwick and Garrett Shadbolt shared fourth with 84 apiece.

“I love my family, I love my friends, I love everybody here,” Steiner said. “It feels so great to be as young as I am and be able to be here in front of you guys.”

Steiner won nearly $14,000 at the event.
