Zac Dallas has been a force all season long in the Resistol Rookie Race but he is closing in on the Top 15 in the PRCA World Standings and that is right where he wants to be. Two good trips over America’s birthday make him your Resistol Rookie Athlete of the Week.

Dallas swung up to Red Lodge, Montana for the Home of the Champions Rodeo where he would nod his head on Brookman Rodeo’s Rude Roommate. The veteran bronc and Dallas went toe-to-toe to be 83 points, a score that would finish fourth at the Montana rodeo. It also added $1,200 to Dallas’ season earnings.

The No. 1 rookie in the saddle bronc also matched up with Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Outclassed at the always festive St. Paul Rodeo. It would end up being a ride that finished third to the tune of 85 points but Dallas would have a hefty payday that added almost $7,500 to his season earnings.

Dallas has racked up $53,985 to be the No. 19 ranked saddle bronc rider in the World, outside of the Top 15 by around $5,000. A few more checks like those from Cowboy Christmas and Dallas could be eyeing a trip to the National Finals Rodeo.

A Cowboy Christmas worth almost $10,000 is not bad for the Resistol Rookie Athlete of the Week.
