It is as close as can be at the top of the PRCA Team Roping World Standings on the head side. Currently, it is Dustin Egusquiza who holds the No. 1 spot. but he is only $800 ahead of Kaleb Driggers and $1,800 ahead of Nelson Wyatt. Here is a look at the top 20 in the PRCA World Standings.
No. 2 Kaleb Driggers, 127,023
Driggers jumped to the No. 2 spot after a big week where he earned over $10,000. His weekend started at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo where he and partner Junior Nogueira placed first in a round and took the Average after going 10.0 seconds on two. In total, the team earned $14,000 with the win. That win helped Driggers jump Nelson Wyatt in the No. 2 spot and draw closer to Egusquiza.
No. 5 Andrew Ward, $102,937
Ward made over $8,000 last week which helped him hold off the field and remain in fifth place in the PRCA World Standings. Ward is heading to his fourth-career NFR and has been a mainstay inside the top ten over the last four seasons. His lowest finish is seventh in the PRCA World Standings. Ward is nearly halfway to his career high in earnings which he attained last season after making $226,723.
No. 12 Jake Clay, $73,617
A week ago Clay was in the No. 15 spot but roped his way off the bubble, jumping to No. 12 after a strong week. Clay took Kansas’ Biggest Roeo with a 4.3-second run. He would follow that up with a second-place finish at the Lawton Rangers Rodeo and a fourth-place finishing Sikeston. Clay won over $7,000 over the week to make the big jump.
