It is the final week of the season and it is none other 2021 World Champion Stetson Wright that leads the World Standings by just $11,000.
As we head into the Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup, there is game-changing money on the line that could burst the bubble for some while for others, it can bring into view the Thomas and Mack.
No. 1 Stetson Wright, $242,820
It is not surprise that Superman in Boots has been on a heater as the season nears its end. A second place finish in St. George, Utah came after an 88.5-point ride on Vain Reflections that was worth $3,300. He followed it up with a win in Sonoma, California.
No. 10 Brody Cress, $131,743
Cress’ season has been unlike previous years for the Wyoming native. He has managed to land barely inside the Top 10 as he put together and 84.5-point ride on Country Grammar to add to it with a payday in Madison, Indiana at the Madison Pro Rodeo.
No. 11 Chase Brooks, $130,314
Picking up a few first place checks is the Montana cowboy. At the Omaha River City Rodeo, he was 84 points to win $3,500 before he went on to Madison, Indiana to be 87 and cash in another $3,300.
No. 13 Lefty Holman, $124,985
Holman’s home state of California brought him three paydays this past weekend. His match up in San Bernadino was Bridwell Pro Rodeo’s Pearl Necklace and he put an 85.5 on the board. Before the weekend was over he put up two more rides that added another $3,000 to his earnings.
